Legal Counsel for your Family and Business
We understand that finding an attorney for minor legal issues can be challenging. Often the cost of engaging a law firm far exceeds the time that is needed to address your issue. We offer a limited scope attorney consultation, or mini-engagement, for up to 45 minutes to discuss your legal questions and issues. Unlike other firms' free consultations, our consultation is an attorney-client relationship for the duration of the meeting. If you engage our firm for additional work after the initial consultation, the cost of the consultation is applied to the additional services.
Most of our services are offered with transparent flat-fee pricing. For our basic estate planning, business start-ups, and contract services, we charge a set amount with no hidden fees, costs, or charges. Our firm's engagement agreement will clearly describe the scope of the project, specific deliverables, and payment requirements for our flat-fee engagements.
We charge a reasonable hourly rate for complex estate planning, probate, and tax controversy matters. For our hourly engagements, we require an initial retainer deposit payment that is kept in our firm's attorney trust account. The amount of the retainer deposit will be discussed with Mike prior to beginning the engagement. More information about our firm's hourly payment and retainer requirements will be described in our firm's engagement agreement.
